JAMMU, Dec 7: Chief Scientist & Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu, Dr. Banarsi Lal has been conferred with prestigious ‘Scientist of the Year-2025’ award.
The award was given during the 12th International Conference on ‘Agriculture & Veterinary: Transformative Approach, Research & Innovations Forum (ICAVRI-2025) held recently through hybrid mode at Goa by Goa College of Agriculture in association with University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad, VNMV, Parbhani, Directorate of Agriculture Goa and Indian Society of Agriculture Science & Technology Research Society, New Delhi.
Many eminent agricultural scientists and research scholars across the globe participated in the mega event and deliberated on the various fields of agriculture, animal husbandry and allied sciences for the welfare of farming community.
