JAMMU, Feb 26: During three days International Conference on Global Research Initiatives for Agriculture, Science and Technology (GRIAST-2025) at Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishawvidhayalay (IGKV), Raipur, Chhattisgarh, National Agriculture Development Co-operative Ltd (NADCL) awarded Dr. Banarsi Lal, Chief Scientist & Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi SKUAST-J with ‘Best KVK Scientist Award’.
The conference was jointly organised by the NADCL and IGKV, Raipur and many eminent scientists, academicians and research scholars from across the globe participated in it.
The ‘Best KVK Scientist Award’ was conferred to the J&K scientist based on his outstanding contributions and accomplishments in the field of agriculture and allied sectors.
His overall research papers, books, articles, success stories, case studies, consultancy services etc were considered for the prestigious award.
Dr. Lal has also developed an exponential communication model which is very handy to assess the communication behaviour of farmers.
