BIKANER, Oct 18: Dr Ajay Kumar Singh, Assistant Professor at the Centre for Comparative Religion and Civilization (CCRC), Central University of Jammu, was awarded with the prestigious National Atal Bihari Vajpayee Diaspora Award in the Senior Scholar Category at the 61st Indian Political Science Association (IPSA) Conference.
The conference, held at Maharaj Ganga University, Bikaner, recognized Dr Singh for his significant contributions to Indian knowledge systems and religious studies.
In his acceptance speech, Dr Singh expressed deep gratitude to IPSA, highlighting the honour of receiving an award named after the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a statesman who shaped India’s diplomatic landscape.
He emphasized the importance of the Indian Diaspora’s role in global intellectual discourse.
The award ceremony, attended by scholars from across the country, acknowledged the growing impact of the Indian Diaspora in the field of political science.
