JAMMU, June 27: Expressing serious concern over the “NEET paper leak scam”, Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) urged for fair and speedy investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation into the whole episode.
“DPAP stands with the young competitors of NEET and other professional competition examinations and plead for justice to them by conducting such important tests which shape the feature of younger generation,” senior DPAP leader and former Legislator Ashok Sharma said while talking to media persons here today.
“The newly formed Union Government should have self-introspection while dealing sensitive issues especially those directly concerned with younger generation ensuring the objective of `good governance’ on all levels. DPAP also stands with the farmers families who sacrifice their lives during recent agitation while fighting for the cause of community,” Sharma added.
The Central and UT Governments are urged to fix Minimum Support Prize (MSP) with regard to the crops grown by the farmers in J&K.
The DPAP led by former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad is committed to restore Statehood with land and job guarantees, free electricity to the consumers, restoration of Roshni Scheme, regularisation of Daily Wagers, filling of all Government and public sector vacancies by fast track recruitment within a period of six months, augmentation of drinking water and Irrigation schemes, Power projects, targeting optimum utilization, uninterrupted power and water supply, removing water tax and smart meters and toll plazas, declare J&K as drug abuse free zone etc.
