Dozens join BJP during membership drive in Marh Assembly constituency

JAMMU, Dec 15: A grand membership drive under the “Sangathan Parv” initiative of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was organized on Sunday in the Marh Assembly constituency. Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion, while Marh MLA Surinder Kumar presided over the programme. District Development Council (DDC) member, Balbir Lal, BJP district president, Omi Khajuria, senior leader, Rajinder Singh Chib, along with several Sarpanches, Panches and other prominent local dignitaries were present on the occasion.
During the programme, dozens of activists , inspired by BJP’s policies, joined the party under the leadership of youth leader Aditya Verma. Among those who pledged their allegiance to the BJP were Vishwas, Vishal, Atul, Aryan, Chetan, Pratham, Saarth, Sumanyu, Ritesh and Naman, along with nearly two dozen others.
Addressing the gathering, Jugal Kishore Sharma MP said, “The BJP’s policies pave the way for opportunities and development for the youth. Today’s membership drive will undoubtedly strengthen our organization further.” He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to the development of the Marh region.
Jugal also threw light on Modi Government’s welfare schemes for youth, women, weaker sections of the society as well as farmers and asked the people to take their full advantage.
Welcoming the new members, MLA Surinder Kumar expressed his delight and said, “The BJP has always encouraged youth to take the lead. Those who have joined today will receive every possible support from the party to grow and contribute to society.”
