JAMMU, Dec 11: A book consisting of three full length Dogri stage plays including Mai Bhagat Singh , Nama Tantra and Man Changa Katothi Ch Ganga written by Dr Sudhir Mahajan today presented to Suresh Kumar Gupta, Principal Secretary, Culture and Department of School Education UT of J&K.
Suresh Gupta , while receiving the book congratulated Dr Mahajan for this creative piece and extended his wishes for his future endeavours in terms of enriching the Dogri Drama and Theatre besides the Dogra culture.
Dr Mahajan also briefed about the content and story of all the plays with the stage and social values of these creative pieces which will not only enhance and enrich the Dogri literature but the Dogri theatre too with regards to the present materialistic tendency, perception and approach of the masses.
Dr Mahajan, while briefing to the Principal Secretary also disclosed that so far no such play has been written on these contents in the Dogri literature and soon the Samooh Theatre will stage all these plays one by one for the promotion of theatre and the drama as well.
