KATRA, Apr 12: Dogri book ‘Muskana te Chindu’ written by Bishen Dass Gaharia was released here today during a function organised by Senior Citizens Welfare Forum Katra.
Parkash Premi, eminent Dogri poet and Shahitya Academy Awardee was chief guest on this occasion while Jagdeep Dubey, renowned poet was the guest of honour.
The chief guest hailed Bishen Dass Gaharia for writing the beautiful Dogri book ‘Muskana te Chindu’ which is a collection of Dogri poems.
A detailed paper was presented by Dr. Tarsem Kumar, Professor at Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
Author of the book Bishen Dass Gaharia threw light on his writing journey and also recited his poetry.
Earlier, Gopal Krishan Komal, eminent Dogri poet delivered welcome address.
Vote of thanks was given by Shiv Kumar Sharma, president Senior Citizens Welfare Forum Katra.
