CHANDIGARH, Feb 6: JK Dogra Sabha and NZCC organized an event here which witnessed a large turnout of Dogras residing in and around the Trinity region.
Highlight of the event was cultural festivities, unity and celebration of Dogra heritage and it was graced by distinguished guests including Kavinder Gupta, a prominent political figure and Nidhi Dogra, an influential community leader, who were special guests.
On this occasion, prominent figures in Dogra community—Prof. Anupama Sharma, Patron Nami Dogri Sanstha; Dr. Nasib Singh Manhas, Programme Head Doordarshan and Arti Sharma were honoured as ‘Pride of Dogras’ for their contribution to Dogri language and culture.
Nidhi Dogra Sharma, Patron Duggar Samaj Trust Mumbai was awarded with ‘Dogra Rattan’ by JK Dogra Sabha.
During the event, Dogri Dhaam was the main attraction to promote Dogri Cuisine among young Dogras.
