Doda, Sept 8: The District Magistrate Doda has informed the Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly that MLA Mehraj Din Malik from Doda constituency has been booked under the Public Safety Act (PSA) for activities deemed prejudicial to the maintenance of public order. The communication stated that his actions posed a serious threat to peace and tranquility in the district, and preventive detention was found necessary to safeguard law and order.
