JAMMU, May 19: Principal Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, Navin K Choudhary, has ordered suspension of Dr Goldee Khurana, Consultant Physician.
The suspension has been ordered as Dr Goldee Khurana is involved in a case FIR Number 05-2022 under Sections 376, 417, 506, 468, 198 and 109 IPC of Police Station Women Jammu.
“Pending enquiry into his conduct, sanction is hereby accorded to the suspension of Dr Goldee Khurana, Consultant Physician, in case FIR Number 05-2022 under Sections 376, 417, 506, 468, 198 and 109 of IPC, registered with Police Station Women Cell Jammu w.e.f. 08-02-2022 i.e from the date he remained in police custody, in terms of Rule 31 (2) of J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956”, the order issued by Principal Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, Navin K Choudhary reads.
During the period of his suspension, the doctor shall remain attached in the Directorate of Health Services, Jammu, the order read further.
