DNWCC meets MD JPDCL, RRC

JAMMU, May 5: A delegation of Durga Nag Welfare Coordination Committee (DNWCC) led by Sanjay Dhar, Bihari Lal Raina , M K Razdan and Chand Ji Ambardar met Executive Engineer, PDD regarding the installation of Feeder 100 KVA for new Tubewell at Rajinder Nagar.
The Executive Engineer assured the delegation that the work on installation of feeder will be started soon and tube well will be made operational by ending this month to provide succour to the residents of the area.
Later the delegation also met MD JPDCL and apprised him of the problem faced by the residents due to unscheduled power cuts in Feeder Nos RN 6 and RN 2 at Roop Nagar Grid Station and Feeder No MU 9 at CPS Muthi Pumping Station. They said Feeder No RN 6 is overloaded and it is the main cause of power cuts.
The MD gave instructions to the concerned officers to settle the problem. The delegation also met Executive Engineers, PHE Civil and Mechanical and apprised them of water scarcity issue in the area and demanded some concrete solution to settle the problem.
The delegation also met Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Migrants and discussed the issue of Ayushman Cards with him.
