REASI, Nov 10: District Magistrate Reasi Vishesh Paul Mahajan today slapped Public Safety Act on a notorious bovine smuggler.
The accused, namely Mohd Azam, son of Abdul Hussain, age 25 years, resident of village Kothian, Tehsil Pouni, District Reasi, was convicted by the courts in multiple FIRs registered in various Police Stations viz Suderbani, Akhnoor and Pouni.
His repeated criminal acts of bovine smuggling were considered a threat to public order and tranquility in the District.
According to the District Magistrate Reasi, there shall be zero tolerance against anti social elements involved in bovine smuggling, illegal mining and drugs trafficking etc.
