Srinagar, May 20: In anticipation of rising temperatures and potential heatwave conditions, the District Magistrate Srinagar today has issued an advisory to safeguard public health and well-being.
The advisory, released by the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), urges residents to take preventive measures as temperature is expected to soar in the coming days.
Residents have been advised to stay hydrated, avoid venturing outdoors during peak afternoon hours-12 noon to 3 PM-and wear light, loose-fitting clothing.

Warning signs include dizziness, nausea, rapid heartbeat, confusion, and reduced urination. Residents experiencing these symptoms have been urged to seek immediate medical help, it stated.
