JAMMU, Nov 12: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Anantnag today observed National Legal Services Day / Week with great enthusiasm at the District Court Complex, Anantnag.
The event was presided over by Principal District & Sessions Judge, Tahir Khurshid Raina (Chairman, DLSA Anantnag) and organized under the supervision of Fozia Paul, Secretary, DLSA Anantnag.
Addressing the gathering, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Tahir Khurshid Raina, highlighted the importance of legal aid and emphasized the vital role of both the Bench and the Bar in ensuring “Access to Justice for All.” He reiterated that it is the collective responsibility of the Bench and the Bar to ensure that no individual remains unrepresented in the pursuit of justice.
The event reflected DLSA Anantnag’s continued commitment to promoting legal awareness, ensuring legal aid for the marginalized, and strengthening the justice delivery system at the grassroots level.
On this occasion, senior advocates, trained mediators, and panel lawyers were felicitated for their outstanding contributions to the cause of legal services and access to justice.
The programme witnessed the presence of senior members of the District Bar Association Anantnag, trained mediators, defence legal aid counsels, panel lawyers, and para-legal volunteers, among others.
