JAMMU, May 21: Displaced Kashmiris Democratic Party (DKDP) in its Executive Committee meeting here today held under the presidentship of Satish Pajnoo its president discussed various issues faced by displaced Pandits from Valley.
The meeting decided to change the nomenclature of the organization as Displaced Kashmiri Front (DKF) and hence forth the organization will function as DKF. However the office bearers of the organization will remain the same.
The meeting also resolved to launch an awareness programme among the migrants regarding enrolment of voters and in this regard the Front will take a leading role by holding corner meetings in Jammu and other places where migrants are putting up.
The meeting among others was attended by Pushkar Nath Pandit, J L Pandita and Makhan Lal.
