Srinagar, Apr 2: The Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir has designated district-wise nodal officers to address public grievances related to essential commodities and to supervise the functioning of District Control Rooms across Kashmir division.
According to an official order, issued by the office of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir , the move aims to ensure timely redressal of complaints and streamline monitoring mechanisms at the district level.
As per the order, Mr. Aadil Fareed (ADC Srinagar) has been appointed for Srinagar, while Mr. Altaf Hussain Musavi (ADC Baramulla) will oversee Baramulla district.
For Ganderbal, Mr. Bilal Ahmad (AD, FCS&CA) has been designated, while Pulwama will be looked after by Mr. Iftikhar Ahmad (AD, FCS&CA).
Similarly, Mr. Adil Manzoor Wani (DIO Bandipora) has been assigned Bandipora, and Mr. Muzaffar Ahmad Malik (AD, FCS&CA) will oversee Anantnag district.
In Budgam, Mr. Mohammad Yousuf (AD, FCS&CA) has been designated, while Shopian will be monitored by Mr. Nisar Ahmad (AD, FCS&CA).
Kupwara and Kulgam districts will be handled by Mr. Irfan-ul-Ashaq and Mr. Syed Ashaq Hussain, respectively, both serving as AD, FCS&CA.
The order further states that Mr. Mohammad Hussain, JKAS, OSD with Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, has been designated as the nodal officer at the divisional level to coordinate with all district nodal officers and ensure effective grievance redressal.
The authorities have also shared contact numbers of the nodal officers and control rooms to facilitate public access and prompt response to complaints.
