KISHTWAR, June 26: Scheduled Caste community of Kishtwar has formed a district body, under the banner of All J&K Scheduled Caste Welfare Association, for effectively highlighting their issues.
Jagdish Raj was nominated as president of the body while Ram Krishan and Capt Dewan Chand were elected as senior vice-presidents, Lekh Raj, Hans Raj, Jagdish Raj and Vinay Kumar as vice-presidents, Ajeet Bhagat as general secretary, Lakhmi Chand as secretary and Kuldeep Kumar as cashier.
Des Raj, Jewan Lal, Tek Chand and Satish Kumar were appointed as organizers and Anil Kumar as publicity secretary while Bal Krishan and Des Raj were nominated as executive members.
