SRINAGAR, Sept 22: The District Srinagar Thang-Ta Championship 2025 concluded at the Multipurpose Indoor Hall, Polo Ground, after two days of intense competition.
As per handout issued, organized by the District Srinagar Thang-Ta Association and sponsored by the J&K Sports Council, the event saw participation from 332 players and 32 officials, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for indigenous martial arts in the region.
The championship provided a vibrant platform for young athletes to exhibit their skills and sportsmanship. Organizers hailed the event as a great success in promoting Thang-Ta at the grassroots level and expressed optimism for its continued growth in the Union Territory.
