BUDGAM, Aug 11: The District Budgam Carrom Championship 2025-26 commenced today at Delhi Public School, Sheikh Pora, with enthusiastic participation from players across various categories. Organized by the District Budgam Carrom Association under the aegis of the J&K Carrom Association and supported by the “My Youth My Pride” initiative of J&K Sports Council, the event was inaugurated by Mudasir Khan, General Secretary, J&K Carrom Association.
Bilal Ahmad, HoD Sports DPS Budgam and other officials extended their best wishes to the participants. The event aims to promote indoor sports and holistic youth development. Results: Zaib, Qariha, Saffa, M. Rafil, Basit, Affan, Abdul Basit and Suhail won their respective matches in the opening round.
