JAMMU, Jan 20: A meeting of Displaced Medical Pensioners Welfare Forum Jammu was held under the chairmanship of P K Koul here, today in which the demands of pensioners were discussed.
The meeting was also addressed by Trade Union leader P K Peshin. He said that Government employees perks were increased after formation of UT and they were given benefits of some more allowances while the pensioners were ignored. He demanded enhancement of monthly Medical Allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 and settlement of other demands.
