JAMMU, Aug 27: Condemning the ‘Fidayeen attack’ at District Police Lines Pulwama in Kashmir on Saturday morning which claimed the lives of 8 security personnel besides injuring several others, NPP chairman Harsh Dev Singh today said that such terror attacks in J&K had become a routine affair with virtually no sign of governance and anarchy prevailing all across the State.
While demanding immediate imposition of Governor rule in J&K, he regretted that the ominous combination of two diametrically opposite poles BJP-PDP had brought death, destruction, ruin and disaster which had also led to total collapse of politico-administrative apparatus in the militancy torn State.

Talking to media-persons here today, NPP leader eulogized the courage and valour of the martyred brave hearts who foiled the nefarious attack of JeM militants. He said that the security forces had successfully evacuated the family members of the soldiers from the blocks before eliminating the militants who had taken shelter in the family quarters of the DPL complex. He said that the State Government had not learnt well from its past mistakes as the security lapse had been a root cause of the fatal terror attacks recurring at regular intervals.
Referring to the brutal terror attack on the bus of Amarnath yatris in Kashmir on July 10 this year, which left 8 people killed and 18 people injured, he said that the situation had deteriorated in J&K due to the coalition’s policies of appeasement and surrender to the dictates of secessionists in the Valley. He said that such dastardly acts had exposed the anti-national and communal psyche of the secessionist forces and subversives who were hell bent to vitiate the peace and tranquility of the State.
He further blamed the State Govt for having grossly failed to respond appropriately to the anarchy caused by anti-national elements which had led to civil unrest, clashes, shut downs, public attacks on police stations, lynching and killing of police personnel, assault on security forces, death and destruction, sympathy with the families of militants and stone pelters in Kashmir, etc.
