MUMBAI, Oct 18:
Dish TV India, a leading direct to home (DTC)
service provider, has posted a net profit of Rs 55.09 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to net loss of Rs 48.56 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
However, the total income has increased from Rs 485 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011 to Rs 534 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012, representing an increase of 10.05 per cent.
During the quarter, other income of the company has decreased by 65.51 per cent to Rs 8.03 crore compared with prior year period.
The company has reported exceptional gain to Rs 76 crore for the
second quarter, a statement issued by the company said. (UNI)
