JAMMU, June 15: Residents of Chowgan Salathian, Panjtirthi and Pacci Dhakki, which are supplied water from Manda, have alleged supply of dirty drinking water leading to spread of jaundice in their localities.
In a statement, the residents alleged that dirty water is being supplied to their localities for the past over two months. They said they had brought the matter to the notice of the PHE authorities but they have taken no action to improve water supply.
The residents hoped that the PHE authorities would act and ensure supply of safe drinking water to their localities.
