JAMMU, Apr 11: J&K Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA) here today released an online Directory of Visual Artists of J&K-2021.
The Directory was formally released by veteran artist V.S Rahi, Senior Advisor JKCCA & Former Vice- President of All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society (AIFACS), New Delhi.
A total of 145 veteran, senior and young visual artists of J&K have been included in the Directory, which has been edited by M/s T.S Batra, Senior Artist & former Principal, Institute of Music & Fine Arts (IMFA), Jammu; Jang S. Verman, Senior Artist & Columnist on Art & Culture; Pt. Kewal K. Sharma, President JKCCA and O.P Sharma, Senior Artist & Director JKCCA, Jammu.
In his message, V.S Rahi complimented Director, JKCCA for the initiative to compile and bring out the Directory.
O.P Sharma said, need of bringing out an Artists’ Directory was felt from a long time and the Directory would prove to be a useful tool in the hands of artists, art lovers, enthusiasts and collectors and may improve better interaction among the concerned masses.
