JAMMU, June 30: All J&K Diploma Engineers’ Association today highlighted their burning demands in a meeting of the association held here today under the presidium of Upinder Singh.
While addressing the meeting, Upinder Singh called upon the cadre to get united for the cause of Diploma Engineers to achieve the long pending demands of Diploma Engineers.
He further stressed upon the State Government for implementation of Punjab pattern in which every Diploma Engineer is designated as AE after rendering ten years of service.
Other demands highlighted in the meeting were enhancement of FTA from Rs 30 per month to Rs 5000 per month and maintaining cadre strength for the post of AE to AEE and AEE to X-En in all departments.
Narinder Singh, Vijay Sharma, Rakesh Goswami, Naresh Sawhney and Arunesh Sharma were also present in the meeting.
