JAMMU, Feb 21: Dinesh Gupta, former AGM of RBI has been appointed Honorary Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu region by the Governor in his capacity as president, Indian Red Cross Society, J&K State.
He has assumed office by relieving R.C.Puri on completion of his four years term. Gupta is a social worker and associated with the IRCS since 1983 and has already worked as Hony. Secretary, IRCS, Jammu district branch for about 17 years 1992 to 2009.
He is also the founder Director of ‘Childline, Jammu’. A project of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. Gupta is recipient of many commendation certificates from State as well as Central Govt. besides he is also the recipient of Gold Medal from the President of India for rendering continuers Humanitarian Services.
