JAMMU, Apr 8: Sunil Dimple President Jammu West Assembly Movement held a meeting with DyCM Dr Nirmal Singh and discussed various problems faced by the people regarding traffic jams, worst condition of city roads and urgent need to construct flyovers.
Dimple held detailed discussion over the PDD, JMC, PWD, ERA sewarage and PHE schemes. He demanded to install the fresh new receiving station of 50 MVA at Janipur to overcome the load problem and the curtailment of power.
He put forth demand for new 10 MVA small sub-station for Manda Ambphalla, Shiv Nagar Shakti Nagar, fresh electrification of the Jammu city, widening of the BC Road, constructing of the fly over’s at Rehari Chungi, and Jewal Chowk as also starting of Metro Rail.
He also demanded to hold the inquiry in on going work of the ERA and to hold immediate Jammu Municipal Corporation elections.
Dr Nirmal Singh assured that all demands put forward will be redressed at the earliest.
