JAMMU, Oct 26: In view of the forthcoming Eid and Diwali festivals, top brass of Railway Security today visited district Kathua and reviewed overall view of crime and security.
DIG Railways security Ashok Kumar Atri accompanied by SP Railways Shiv Kumar Sharma and SDPO Railway Vijaypur visited police station GRP Kathua and held a meeting with the Station Master of Railway Station, Kathua/ RPF and SHO, Incharge Police Posts of Sub Division Railways, Vijaypur. He briefed all the participants to remain extra vigilant in the view of the forthcoming festivals.
Besides a darbar of jawan of police station GRP Kathua was also held to redress their grievances.
Top brass of Railways Security also visited PP GRP Budhi, Chann Roarian, Vijaypur and instructed for regular patrolling on railway track, etc. so that no untoward incident took place.
