JAMMU, Jan 6: Official poster for the film ‘The Last Dose’ was released here today by Shiv Kumar Sharma, DIG Jammu along with Keshav Chopra, Social Activist and Chairman Samvedna Society.
Speaking on the occasion, DIG Shiv Kumar Sharma said: “It is heartening to see the youth of J&K taking a proactive stance against drug abuse through the medium of cinema.”
He further said that J&K Police stands firmly behind such noble efforts that aim to protect our future generations.
Keshav Chopra remarked that art has the power to change mindsets where words often fail.
“By highlighting the harsh realities of addiction, this film serves a vital social cause,” he maintained.
A handout stated that the film is a collaborative production by Shivdeep Gupta and Priya Gupta, directed and edited by the Psycho Brothers, with the original story and concept provided by Jatin Kattal, lead roles were played by Khwaish Gupta and Nitin Kalsotra, supported by Shiva Soule, Sahaj Sabharwal, Nirbhey Khajuria, Tarun Charak and others, technical execution was handled by Cameo Films and Midtones Studio for cinematography, with makeup by Amita Makeovers.
The project has also received significant backing from Edukatters, Priyanshu Gupta and Taansen Sangeet Vidyalaya.
