RAJOURI, Apr 20: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Rajouri-Poonch Range, Johnny Williams today reviewed the law and order situation in the area, especially with regard to the situation risen due to clash of students in BGSB University recently.
SSP Rajouri, Rajeshwar Singh; Commandant 5th Battalion of JKAP Mohd Fareed; Additional SP Rajouri, Tahir Saleem Khan; DySP Headquarters, Hameed Choudhary; DySP DAR Kewal Sharma; SDPO Thannamandi, Iftkhar Talib; Dy Commandant 72 Bn CRPF and several other officials attended the meeting.
The DIG took feed back from all the officers and directed them to take strict measures to deal with the law and order situation and also against people taking law in hand. He also directed the senior officers to keep close liaison with the public and frequently hold meetings in their respective areas to get public feed back.
