Different events held on final day of National Aerobic Gymnastics C’ship

JAMMU, Mar 24: On the 3rd day of ongoing National Aerobic Gymnastics Championship 2023-24, the medals were distributed by the Chief Guest Kapil Sharma MD J&K Medical Supplies Corporation Jammu while Dr Kunal Sharma Consultant GMC Jammu and Dr Goutam Goel former Deputy Superintendent GMC Jammu were the Guest of Honour for the event of Sub-Junior Boys and Girls Category.
For the event of Junior Boys and Girls Category, the medals were distributed by Sanjeev Sharma Member Core Group J&K Study Centre and Board Member LEAD while Suneel Mahajan President J&K Amateur Athletics Association and Prem Sharma General Secretary J&K Pharmaceutical were the guests of honour.
The dignitaries appreciated the efforts of the J&K Sports Council and Gymnastics Association of J&K for organizing such a mega sports event. They advised the budding youth to adopt Sports and Games for their bright future so that the standard of the Sports in J&K UT and country be uplifted.
The results of the day were Trio Final (Sub-Junior) Veer Shah, Parth Sukhadia, Tanishk Turner of Gujarat won Gold Medal, Shrikant D. Hadole, Rudra S. Khond, and Om Mahesh Soni of Maharashtra won Silver Medal while Pranvi Sharma, Aakshara Sharma and Ayman Tak of Jammu & Kashmir won Bronze Medal.
In Group Final (Sub-Junior) Maharashtra won Gold, Gujarat won Silver and West Bengal won Bronze. In the Individual Women Final (Sub-Junior) Unnati Bokaria of Karnataka won Gold, Riya Shilpa Naphade of Maharashtra won silver; Divyanshi Mahant of Jammu & Kashmir won Bronze. Individual Men Final (Sub-Junior) Ruddrakash Khanna of Jammu & Kashmir won Gold, Veer Shah of Gujarat won silver and Parth A. Barbudhe of Maharashtra won Bronze.
Mixed Pair Final (Sub-Junior); Tanishk Turner, Dhruvi Patel of Gujarat won Gold, Ruddrakash, Divyanshi of Jammu & Kashmir won Silver and Viraj Parma, Sanvi Rana of Madhya Pardesh won Bronze.
Mixed Pair Final (Junior); Leishilembi Chabungbam, Mutum Romesh Singh of Manipur won gold. Individual Women Final (Junior); Majida Khatun of West Bengal won Gold, Anjori Pangambam of Manipur won Silver and Riya Sharma of Jammu & Kashmir won Bronze.
Individual Men Final (Junior); Mutum Romesh Singhof Manipur won Gold, Shubham Raina of Gujarat won Silver and Vikas Gupta of Jammu & Kashmir won Bronze.
Trio Final (Junior); Majida Khatun, Piu Jana, Sahina Gupta of West Bengal won Gold. In Group Final (junior) West Bengal won Gold. In the Aero Dance Final (Junior); West Bengal won the gold medal.
Kiran Wattal, President J&K Gymnastic Association lauded the efforts of athletes for showing tremendous spirit throughout the tournament.
