POONCH, June 11: The Director Health Services Jammu (DHSJ) has constituted a four-member panel to conduct an enquiry regarding the maternal deaths at the District Hospital Poonch.
As per an order, the committee shall be headed by Dr Ritesh Khullar, Controller of Stores, Jammu, with Dr Parvez Ahmed Khan, Chief Medical Officer, Poonch, Dr Suresh Kumar Kapahi, Consultant Gynaecologist, CHC Kalakote, and Dr JP Sharma, Consultant Anaesthesia, SDH Sunderbani as Members.
“The committee shall submit its report within 2 days positively along with definite remarks/recommendations after the issuance of the order,” the order said.
Meanwhile, it has been ordered that Dr Shehnaz Bhatti, Consultant Gynaecologist, District Hospital Poonch, shall remain attached at the CMO office, Poonch, till the conclusion of the enquiry.
