DHS Jammu reviews healthcare facilities at CHC Batote

RAMBAN, Oct 3: Director Health Services (DHS) Jammu Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar visited CHC Batote to review healthcare facilities and assess the quality of services being provided to the public.
During the visit, DHS Jammu inspected various sections of the CHC including OPD, IPD, Emergency Ward, Labour Room, Operation Theatre, and diagnostic facilities. He interacted with doctors, paramedical staff and patients, and emphasized the importance of providing compassionate, patient-friendly healthcare services.
Dr Zargar took stock of the availability of medicines, laboratory services, and essential equipment, while also reviewing implementation of key government health programmes. He stressed on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the hospital premises and instructed staff to ensure timely medical attention to all patients.
The DHS Jammu assured full support from the Directorate to further strengthen healthcare delivery in the region. He also urged the staff to work with dedication for the benefit of the people, especially those from rural and far-flung areas.
The visit reflects the Directorate’s commitment towards improving healthcare infrastructure and ensuring accessible, affordable and quality health services for all.
