DGP visits Kathua-Doda border, reviews security measures

JAMMU, Jan 29: Director General of Police (DGP) J&K, Nalin Prabhat, along with senior officials including ADGP Jammu Zone, Anand Jain, DIG JKS Range, Shiv Kumar Sharma, and SSP Kathua, Shobhit Saxena, visited the Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) along the Kathua-Doda border today.
During the visit, the DGP interacted with security personnel and was briefed on the current security situation and challenges in the area.
He stressed the importance of maintaining high operational alertness and emphasized the need for focused execution of tasks and strong determination.
The DGP also appreciated the proactive approach and determination shown by the special teams deployed in the region.
ADGP Jammu Zone underscored the importance of continuous training and capacity building for the forces.
Senior officials, including the DIG JKS, SSP Kathua, and Army representatives, briefed the DGP on ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening the security infrastructure in the district and addressing local security concerns.
