SRINAGAR, June 17: Prisons Department held rank ceremony for the newly promoted Incharge Deputy Superintendent Jails at the Prison Headquarters, here.
Director General of Police, Prisons, J&K, SP Vaid, installed ranks to the newly promoted Incharge DySPs Jails in presence of Officers of Prisons Department.
DGP Prisons SP Vaid while speaking expressed hope that the newly promoted officers will continue to work with the same zeal and shoulder their new responsibilities efficiently.
He said that the Department would make all possible efforts to order timely promotions and to create more promotion avenues for the prison staff. He also informed the gathering about various proposals for the welfare of Prisons Staff (both retired and in-service).
The Officers decorated with ranks during the ceremony were Ghulam Nabi Malik, Abdul Khaliq Mir, Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, Ghulam Nabi Naik and Ibrahim.
