PULWAMA, Mar 7: Director General of Police (DGP) J&K, Nalin Prabhat reviewed the security situation and policing measures in Pulwama district during a high-level meeting held at the District Police Office today.
The meeting was attended by Special DG Coordination PHQ SJM Gillani, IGP Kashmir Zone VK Birdi, DIG South Kashmir Range Javid Iqbal Matoo and SSP Pulwama Tanushree along with other senior officers.
During the meeting, the DGP assessed the overall security scenario in the district with a focus on the progress of counter-terror operations and law and order management.
He stressed the need to maintain sustained pressure on anti-national elements and directed officers to remain vigilant and take strict action against those involved in unlawful activities.
The DGP also emphasized stronger intelligence gathering, close coordination among field units and proactive policing to effectively deal with emerging security challenges.
He appreciated the efforts and dedication of officers and personnel deployed in the district and urged them to continue working with professionalism to ensure peace, public safety and stability in Pulwama.
