JAMMU, Nov 24: The workers of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena under the leadership of its president Ashok Gupta took out a protest march here today against the Government’s decision of releasing the stone pelters and withdrawing FIRs against them.
Expressing resentment over the Government decision to release 4500 stone pelters, party president stated that they were involved in the anti-national activities like burning police stations, schools and attacking security forces.
He said these stone pelters have been arrested for causing law & order situation, causing hindrance in Army operations and helping militants get away from the Army hold. There is no reason to withdraw cases, on the contrary a strong sentence should be announced and an example should be made out of them as what they have done is seditious and anti-national in nature, he added.
The kind of the role which Hafeez is playing in Pakistan against India the same work is being done by these stone pelters in Kashmir, he said. A large number of Defence personnel have lost there lives due to the stone pelting and the release of these pelters would just make the martyrdom of these jawans in vain, he added and warned against their release.
