DF&SS protests over power, drinking water crisis

JAMMU, July 2: Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (AG) held protest over power and drinking water crisis.
The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (AG) held protest over water crisis by burning the electric cooler.
While speaking, Ashok Gupta, President, Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (AG) said that since yesterday’s thunderstorm followed by heavy rains, there is no electricity in various areas.
He added that every year the people of Jammu had to suffer during summer season on account of power cuts and irregular supply of drinking water.
Gupta stated that it is the duty of elected Government to ensure that people are not made to suffer but in Jammu and Kashmir, the Government is least concern about the issues of the people.
He further stated that the electricity cuts at the time of Amarnath Yatra is nothing less than a joke and it just shows that how unprepared is the PDD for such events.
Gupta demanded constitution of a Coordination Committee so that the issues pertaining to the Jammu can be resolved after Darbar Move to Srinagar.
