JAMMU, June 2: The workers of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena (DF&SS) here today under the leadership of their president, Ashok Gupta organized a protest rally demanding action on the FIR lodged against AAP MLA, Mehraj Malik.
Addressing the protesters, Gupta said that AAP MLA from Doda scolded the doctors at GMC Doda.
“The MLA resorted to hooliganism and threatened the doctors, following which the resident doctors were feeling frightened and were getting calls from their homes to return,” he maintained.
The Shiv Sena leader also said that the language used by the AAP MLA was shameful.
He further stated that this is not the first time that Malik has targeted the medical community for cheap publicity and without understanding the difficult and strenuous duties performed by the doctors.
Gupta welcomed the complaint lodged by the doctor against Mehraj Malik and urged the Police to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.
Those who joined the protest were Raju, Bantu, Ganesh, Kalu, Prem, Abhishek, Sunil, Naresh, Vikky and others.
