JAMMU, Aug 12: Workers of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena (DF&SS) here today under the leadership of their president, Ashok Gupta organised a protest rally against the bad roads in Jammu.
Addressing the protesters Gupta claimed that sub-standard material was used in the repair of the roads and these were washed away in the first day of rainfall.
He further stated that the road outside Parade Police Post which was macadamised in the month of July is now filled with potholes and a couple of days back there was an accident due to the bad road condition.
Gupta demanded an enquiry to ascertain on whose orders the roads were repaired during the monsoon season and how much public money has been drained away for the benefit of a few.
Deepu, Kishore, Rajinder, Ashwani, Vishal, Meena Devi, Prem, Bantu, Vikky, Naresh, Rampal and many others were also present in the protest.
