JAMMU, Aug 12: During a function organized by ‘Maa Bawe Wali Records’ MD Sahil Mahajan here today, Rajat Sharma of Unique Outsourcing, Unique Voice released devotional song album titled ‘Meri Bawe Aali Maa’.
While launching the album, Sharma said that execution of a comprehensive plan to preserve and promote rich cultural heritage of J&K is the need of the hour and to realize this dream Government should rope in distinguished artists and literary personalities to create avenues.
Sahil Mahajan praised the artists comprising singer Ashok Hans for coming up with album ‘Meri Bawe Aali Maa’.
He said that Dogri is the essence of people and culture of Jammu and like other local languages, it should be given its due status.
Lyrics of the devotional song were written by Ashok Hans while the music was composed by Dr V Kaith and the album was directed by Neeraj.
Sahil Mahajan, J&K BJP co-convener Sanskriti, Art & Culture Cell said that the Cell is always there to support anyone committed to bring out the potential in the younger generation.
