JAMMU, June 24: A soulful devotional album titled “Jai Ho Laddu Gopal (Laddu Gopal Chalisa)” was released here today at the BJP headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
BJP J&K President Sat Sharma, along with General Secretary & MLA Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Rajeev Bhagat, All Cells Incharge Rakesh Mahajan, Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta, Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, and Media Incharge Dr Pardeep Mahotra, released the album.
Sung and written by Sita Singh, the album features music by Dr V Kaith and has been video directed by K K Malhotra. It has been jointly produced by Sita Singh and her husband Swami Narayan Das. Family members of the singer, including her daughter Ambika Solanki, were also present on the occasion. The programme was facilitated by Sahil Mahajan, Co-Convenor of BJP Sanskriti, Art & Culture Cell. Jaideep Sambyal, Ravinder Singh Jamwal, Er T K Sharma, Sanjay Bakshi, and Rajesh Sharma were also present on the occasion.
Sat Sharma commended Sita Singh for her inspiring work and said: “This album is not just a musical offering but a spiritual contribution rooted in India’s rich devotional traditions that connect every heart to the divine leelas of Bal Gopal, instilling purity, strength, and unwavering faith in the minds of devotees. It reflects the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s women-centric schemes like ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’, promoting women empowerment through culture and creativity.”
Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal said that such spiritual projects have the power to keep our heritage alive and must be encouraged. This is a proud moment not just for the artists but for the entire Jammu & Kashmir, he said.
Rajeev Bhagat congratulated the team behind the album and said that this devotional initiative carries forward the timeless message of Lord Krishna.
Rakesh Mahajan termed Sita Singh’s devotion and artistry as an example to engage in constructive, value-based artistic expression.”
Singer Sita Singh sharing that “Jai Ho Laddu Gopal” is the first such Chalisa album devoted to Laddu Gopal and was created with utmost love and devotion.
Sahil Mahajan presented the note of thanks while Dr Pardeep Mahotra conducted the proceedings.
