Devotees pay obeisance to Swami Mast Bab on 13th day

JAMMU, Mar 22: The 13th day ceremony of Swami Mast Bab Ji a spiritual saint of Kashmir who breathed his last recently was performed at his Patoli Ashram here today. A large number of devotees of Swami Ji attended the function and paid obeisance to this spiritual saint who was the disciple of great saint of Kashmir Swami Nand Lal Ji.
The 13th day ceremony was also observed at Swami Ji’s Ashram Shalamar Garden, UP, Karala, New Delhi. The ceremonies concluded with serving of Prashad to devotees.
Meanwhile as per the will of the Swami Ji his disciple Bunty Ji (Repan Koul and Sarita Ji (Sarita Koul) have been nominated Successors (Gaddinashin) of Swami Ji in all six Ashrams operated by Mast Bab Ashram Trust at Hushroo, Badipora Kashmir, Patoli, Jammu, Shalamar Garden, Uttar Pradesh, Haridwar, Uttarakhand and Karala, New Delhi. The Ashram will be administered as per the principles and traditions professed by Swami Nand Lal Ji and Swami Mast Bab Ji.
A handout issued by Swami Mast Bab Ashram Trust here, today said in the compliance of the Guru Shishya Parampara, Swami Ji has passed on the spiritual mantle entrusted to him by his Guru, Swami Nad Lal Ji to his designated disciples, Bunty Ji and Sarita Ji. A ritual in this regard was conducted in the Patoli Ashram today. A hawan was also performed on the occasion. The Bunty Ji will henceforth adopt name of Swami Parkash Ji a name given to him by Swami Mast Bab Ji himself. The function was also attended by Swami Kumar Ji of Geeta Satsang Ashram Muthi.
