Develop tourist places of Jammu: Shiv Sena

JAMMU, Jan 12: Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K unit has said that after the developments like tunnel on Srinagar-Leh National Highway and Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail service in Kashmir, focus should be on development of tourist places of Jammu division.
In a press conference here today J&K Shiv Sena chief, Manish Sahni said that step-motherly treatment with Jammu division will not be tolerated anymore.
He claimed that like previous governments, the BJP led Central Government is also ignoring Jammu region.
The Shiv Sena leader said that places like Suchetgarh, Jhajjar Kotli, Bani, Basohli, Mata Bala Sundari of Kathua and Panchari, Basantgarh, Sudhmahadev, Mantalai in Udhampur, Baba Chamliyal of Samba, Baglihar, Chandrakot, Natha Top, Gool in Ramban, along tourist places of other districts of Jammu division and religious places like Purmandal, Sukrala Mata, Jhiri, Kol Kandoli, Deva Mai, Shivkhori etc should also be developed and equipped with facilities.
He demanded restoration of Statehood to J&K on the auspicious occasion of Lohri and Makar Sankranti.
Shiv Sena general secretary, Vikas Bakshi and senior vice president, Sanjeev Kohli were also present in the press conference.
