JAMMU, Nov 3: Desh Bhagat University (DBU), a NAAC Grade A+ accredited institution from Punjab, has expanded its global presence by establishing a new campus — Desh Bhagat University Americas School of Medicine— in St Vincent and the Grenadines, North America.

The new international campus will offer an MBBS program, furthering DBU’s mission to provide world-class medical education.
Addressing media persons here at Press Club Jammu, Dr Sandeep Singh, President of Desh Bhagat University, said the new initiative reflects the university’s commitment to offering global learning opportunities and enhancing the academic reach of Indian students.
He said the program at DBU Americas provides pathways for students to undertake clinical rotations in the United States, gaining valuable exposure to the US healthcare system.
He added that the institution’s accreditation and recognition from relevant authorities ensure high educational standards essential for future medical licensure and practice.
The curriculum, aligned with international benchmarks, prepares students for exams like the USMLE, while affordable tuition fees make quality medical education accessible to more students.
Dr Singh also highlighted the campus’s state-of-the-art infrastructure, modern laboratories, and well-equipped classrooms, providing an ideal learning environment.
He said DBU Americas offers dedicated guidance for USMLE preparation, helping students pursue careers in the US, St Vincent, or other countries.
