Jammu, Aug 6: The Financial Commissioner (Revenue), J&K has ordered a departmental inquiry against Ravinder Bhagat, the then Patwari of Akhnoor Khas, in connection with an FIR registered by the Anti-Corruption Bureau under the Prevention of Corruption Act and IPC Section 120-B.
As per an order, the inquiry will be conducted by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, who has been appointed as the Inquiry Officer under Rule 33(4) of the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1956.
Bhagat, currently posted as OQ Basohli and attached to the Record Room at DC Office Kathua, is accused along with two others.
The Inquiry Officer has been directed to submit a detailed report with recommendations within 30 days.
