As per the RBI report after the Demonetisation about 99 percent money has come back. For the common people the benefits of demonetization are beyond their understanding. But at least the public should be made to understand whether the move of demonetization was a success or a flop?
Leaving demonetisation aside, the GST for the time being has put additional pressure on the finances of the poor. Despite of the government’s repeated clarifications through various mediums including the advertisements about GST, the common man is still without any clue about what is GST and what will be its aftermath results. Can the Government make us understand why there is so much of escalation in the prices after GST? Can the government also make us understand when the pressure on the purses of the poor will ease out? Today even a road vendor charges extra money in the name of GST and even the landline telephone bills have been charged extra amount rather a good extra amount in the name of GST, but the government was telling that it will have good results? How and when?
