UDHAMPUR, May 10: A delegation of ReT Teachers Forum called on Chief Education Officer Udhampur Balbir Singh and apprised him of various demands and grievances of the ReT teachers.
The delegation, led by Bhupinder Singh, state vice chairman of ReT Teachers Forum told the CEO that some ReT teachers regularized under SSA were not given the salary for the last 3-4 months while in some zones the monthly salary of ReT teachers was not being released on time. Mr Singh demanded a fix date for releasing the salary in every month.
The delegation also highlighted the problems regarding running the mid-day-meal scheme. The teachers demanded payment of cooking charges and carriage charges of mid-day-meal every month.
The CEO gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured redressal of the problems.
