JAMMU, Feb 19: A delegation of All JKPSC +2 Lecturers’ Association led by its president Jammu Province, Manjit Chib met Lieutenant Governor (LG), Manoj Sinha.
The delegation apprised the LG about the stagnation faced by 10+2 Lecturers of School Education Department wherein the lecturers recruited directly get promoted after rendering 20-22 years of service.
The delegation informed the LG that the stagnation is such that the lecturers working presently in School Education Department sometimes retire without availing even a single financial upgradation as there is no avenue of Non-Functional Upgradation (NFU) or Assured Career Progression (ACP) scheme for directly recruited Lecturers.
The delegation also informed the LG that taking cognizance of this issue, the UT of Ladakh recently extended the benefits of MACP Scheme to the Lecturers of School Education Department, Ladakh. The LG assured the delegation that due consideration will be accorded to the genuine issue of the Lecturers. The delegation was assured of timely and positive response from his office.
The delegation included Sandeepan Gupta (Sr. Lecturer), Vijay Sharma (Sr. Lecturer), Sanjeev Gupta (Sr. Lecturer) and Anjali Jamwal (Lecturer).
