KATHUA, Apr 17: A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum, Kathua Unit led by its general secretary and president Education Employees Coordination Committee, Amar Nath Thakur met the Director School Education Jammu in his Office Chambers, here today.
The delegation submitted a memorandum of demands for an early redressal by the Director. The demands included adjustment of newly promoted I/C lecturers, Headmasters and Masters in the district, repatriation of Masters serving in other districts to their home district, filling all vacant posts, senior teacher grade to under graduate teachers, release of salary grants of teachers under SSA.
After listening to the demands projected by the delegation, the Director School Education Jammu assured it that the demands will be fulfilled at an earliest.
Those who accompanied the delegation were Mohd Sadiq, provincial spokesperson, S Parveen Singh, provincial secretary, Om Parkash Singh, district vice president, and Manohar Kumar, district cashier of the forum.
